The Space
This Space 9 bungalow apartment is envisioned as a warm, expressive home that seamlessly blends modern functionality with personal character. The living area forms the heart of the home, defined by functional aesthetics, automatic blinders, a vibrant sofa set, and artistic sculptures that add visual interest. A smaller adjoining room, enclosed with a glass partition, maintains openness while ensuring privacy. The recreational room, featuring a lilac-toned tapestry and glass doors, enhances light flow and creates a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The kitchen and bedrooms are thoughtfully integrated to support comfort, efficiency, and everyday living.
The Ask
The brief was to design a contemporary family home that reflects the individuality of each member while maintaining a cohesive and modern design language. The clients sought a space that felt lively yet balanced, expressive yet functional—where every room had its own identity without disrupting the overall harmony of the home.
The Journey
The design journey focused on personalization and spatial continuity. Glass partitions, layered lighting, and carefully chosen colour palettes helped connect spaces visually. Each bedroom was tailored to its user the daughter’s room with soft pink and salmon tones, playful details, and statement mirrors; the son’s room with clean finishes, functional study elements, and refreshing green and blue accents; and the parents’ bedroom with subtle tones enhanced by a bold fuchsia headboard, symmetry, and modern furniture.
The Result
The result is a vibrant yet harmonious home where warmth, individuality, and modern design come together creating a comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully curated living environment.
